Services
Cherry Creek Physical Therapy isn’t your typical full-service, outpatient PT clinic. We believe in helping you prevent injuries, not just overcome them. That’s why we:

• Assess injuries
• Treat the injury and the patient
• Then enhance fitness to achieve a healthier and more active lifestyle

Bike Fitting
Our specially trained physical therapist is an expert at getting your bike in tune with your body.
Whether you’re a racer or just a cruiser, our fitting can impact your bike riding experience in
three important ways:

• Boost your performance
• Cut down your chance of injury
• Provide you a more comfortable ride

The bike fitting takes one hour. You will need to wear your bike shoes, bike clothing, and of course,
don’t forget your bike.Let a knowledgeable physical therapist watch you ride and make the necessary adjustments. Call today
for your tune-up.

Pregnancy Wellness
Being pregnant is a workout in itself. Take a load off.

Using a combination of massage therapy, core stabilization and other manual therapies, our Pregnancy Wellness Program helps relieve lower back pain, pelvic pain, upper back pain and leg pain that typically comes with carrying a baby.
If you’re a pregnant woman who needs to alleviate some pain (at any point in your pregnancy), set-up an initial one-hour evaluation with a physical therapist to customize a program.

Aquatic Therapy
While swimming may not be huge in Denver, our Aquatic Therapy is. This gentle method uses the resistance of water as a no-impact means to increase muscle performance while decreasing pain. It is used frequently after surgery or with patients who cannot tolerate other forms of exercise. Through pool therapy, you may gain:

• Leg strength
• Core stability
• Range of motion

Each pool session lasts about one hour. Bring your bathing suit or a long t-shirt and shorts. We have towels and a shower for before and after your session. Our pool is heated with adjustable currents. Get wet and get healthy.

Massage Therapy

Get a massage that’ll have you feeling good for numerous reasons. At CCPT, our style of massage therapy targets dysfunctional soft tissue and uses a variety of techniques to correct it.

The sessions last one hour and are performed by a specially trained, certified massage therapist.
All massage therapy activities are supervised by physical therapists to ensure it safely enhances your specific program.

Massage therapy benefits everyone from athletes to pregnant women to people with injuries and chronic pain. It’s also a great way to relieve stress and improve the functioning of the circulatory, lymphatic, muscular, skeletal, and nervous systems. A monthly massage therapy maintenance program can help keep you on track for a healthy and active life.

Pilates
Pilates at CCPT produces subtle movements and dramatic results.
Pilates targets an individual’s core muscles while increasing flexibility. It can also help with a nagging low back problem, knee problem, shoulder dysfunction or any pain.

Unlike other programs, our three certified Pilates instructors are also physical therapists. This ensures you work with someone who understands the intricacies of your body and will treat it with your overall health, injuries and long-term wellness in mind.

The one-hour sessions are private or duet. They may be performed on the Reformer, Chair, Tower, physioball, mat, or a combination of equipment.

With our expertise and state-of-the-art equipment, your overall health and strength are in for a big boost.

Injury Screening
Injuries cause a lot of discomfort well beyond physical pain. Is it serious enough to call a doctor? Can you even get an appointment? Will the bill hurt worse than the injury? When you’re not sure, we can help.

Snow Sport Conditioning
It’s almost as if you’re issued a pair of skis or a snowboard if you live in Colorado. And for good reason. We’re blessed to have the best skiing around in our backyard. However, many preventable injuries can limit shredding and drag well past the ski season.

Cherry Creek Physical Therapy offers a program that prepares you for skiing and snowboarding by increasing your core strength and leg muscle endurance. At the same time, it will drastically reduce your chance of injury. Set up a session with a physical therapist who knows what muscle groups to work and how they need to function for you.

Whether you ride the half-pipe or the bunny slopes, we can personalize a program that meets your specific needs. Call to schedule your first session. Happy shredding!

(Note: our program does not teach skiing/snowboarding skills. It will help your body prepare for the sport, not increase your skill level.)
