History

Cherry Creek Physical Therapy is at home in Colorado. The active lifestyle, sunny days, and endless outdo oropportunities fit us perfectly. Which is the exact reason our founder, Don Nelson, opened our first facility in Cherry Creek North in November 1997.

Don’s founding principles were simple – hire a talented staff, offer only personalized one-on-one sessions, and implement techniques beyond traditional physical therapy.
The concept caught on. So fast, in fact, we quickly outgrew our space. So in 2001 we moved to our current location – a beautiful 1903 Victorian-style home near City Park. Within a year we opened our second office in Aurora.

Like our facilities, our programs and services have evolved throughout the years as well. In addition to physical therapy, we now offer massage therapy, pool therapy, Pilates, bike fitting, snow sport conditioning and pregnancy wellness. And by offering early and late appointments at both convenient locations, getting healthy and staying that way has never been easier.

We feel lucky to be in Colorado. We love it here. Not only does it enable us to live a healthier, more active lifestyle, but it allows us to help you do the same.
